Shavuos - Zman Matan Toraseinu

Na’aseh V’ Nishma. When the Torah was given to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai, We all decared ‘We will do (the Mitzvos) – and we will listen’. The question is, why did we first promise to do? Shouldn’t we first listen before we commit to doing?  The reason we said we will do is to show our commitment to God… and that we trust in Him. This shows God our devotion. We commit to do God’s will even before  we know what it is.

Sunday is the anniversary of God’s giving the Torah to the Jewish people. An event that changed the world.
