I don’t see how anyone that ugly can look at themselves in the
mirror without throwing up.
For those of you scratching your heads right now wondering what in the heck I am talking about, think ‘Picture of Dorian Grey’. Those unfamiliar with Oscar Wilde’s novel, it is the story of an unethical and immoral young man who has his portrait painted and wishes it would age instead of him.
His wish is granted, and he is able to live a life of pleasure without moral restraint. But as time passes he sees the image in that picture constantly aging - getting uglier each time he looks at it, while he stays the same. Eventually he realizes he is looking at his soul; wants to break the curse and dies trying.
This story is a metaphor for someone like Owens who otherwise seems quite rational in her conservative views but spews anti Israel; antisemitic conspiracy theories (some of which are truly bizarre). Thinking these views are moral and consistent with the rest of her conservative values. When she spews them, she does so with conviction and a look on her face that says ‘Of course you believe me because it’s the truth!’
But I am of the firm belief that her views on Israel do not reflect the views of the vast majority of politically conservative Americans who are generally the most pro Israel of any other American demographic. Owens on the other hand reflects good old fashioned conspiracy theory antisemitism. Like those of her ideological forbearer, Henry Ford, who published a book on the subject. If mirrors reflected morality Owens would see a very ugly woman every time she looked at it.
Owens latest irrationality on this subject included her anti American view as well as noted at VIN:
Candace Owens has again displayed her disdain for Israel, as well as the United States, by suggesting that the New Orleans terrorist, apparently linked to ISIS, was “an ally of the U.S. and Israel”.
Owens was once the darling of conservative media like The Daily Wire. Until she showed her true colors, and her ugly face was revealed. Owens was fired. But she has built up a following and sadly now has her own podcast with who knows how many listeners. I have to wonder if any of those listeners have actually been swayed by her negative views of Israel. If there are, they have to be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic - nutcases that are just as ugly as she is.
I have tried ignoring her. But she manages to get a lot of media attention. So I decided to do my part to discredit anything she ever says to the political conservatives that might think her views have any value. They do not. She is pure garbage.
