Rav Aharon Feldman (VIN) |
I am delighted to see that Rav Feldman has retracted his views on voting in the WZO elections. It appears he is indeed consistent in bowing to his Daas Torah expressed by an authority that is greater than he. Just as he did with Rabbi Slifkin. (Not that I agreed with that particular decision. But at least it shows consistancy.) In light of what he now knows is the position of Rav Chaim Kanievsky, Rav Feldman has bowed to that view and now agrees that it is acceptable for all Jews to vote for the religious slates in the WZO elections. More details at VIN.
The post originally scheduled for today (which was up for a short while) has been postponed to tomorrow. I do not want to detract form spreading this very important development.
