Well that may be a bit of an exaggeration. Because I don't how many countries besides the US have rejected the ICC (International Criminal Court) issuance of warrants against Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant - for war crimes against the Palestinian people. But as reported by MSNBC
The European Union’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that all E.U. member states should respect the court’s decision and implement it. Nations including France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Canada and South Africa all said they would meet their commitments under international law.
That Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accepts those warrants as legitimate declaring that Netanyahu will be arrested should he set foot in Canada, tells me just how insane the world of the left has become. It should be noted that J Street has climbed aboard the ICC train as well.
As noted the actual leader of the free world (until next January 20th) has responded quite differently to those warrants:
The ICC issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.
The vast majority of congress on both sides of the political aisle had a similar reaction.
Even if one might believe think that Israel has no paid enouhgh attention to civilian casualties, to say that its leaders is deliberately targeting civilians asd a tactic of war is so patently false that it beggars the mind to see how any sane person can come to such a conclusion. These leftists fools seem to have forgotten why Israel has gone to war against Hamas.
I am not going to bother explaining it again (for the millionth time). But without taking that into consideration Israel's need to defend itself against a group that deliberately uses its innocent women and children as martyrs for the sole purpose of making Israel look bad - the only sane explanation one can have about these warrants and those who agree to them is the age old antisemitism so deeply ingrained into their rotten souls. That includes our friendly neighbor to the North and the J-Street Jews that wouldn't know a Jewish value of it hit them in the face.
I never thought much of Canada's Leftist inclinations. I think even less of them now. Trudeau might recoil at being called an antisemite. He might even say a few things that would seem to support his contention that he's not. For example he even recently condemned an antisemitic attack in his country. And some of his best friends might even be Jewish.
Nice try, Justin. But when a supposedly intelligent man refuses to recognize the difference between a Hamas terrorist who deliberately targets innocent Jews and an Israeli Prime Minster that has not targeted a single Palestinians, it can only spell one thing: A-N-T-I-S-E-M-I-T-E!
What about J Street. They are Jewish. Well - ever hear of Jewish antisemites? J-Street surely qualifies!
Not the case with American leadership. God bless the United States of America! And may the President elect rise to even greater heights in the US relationship with Israel.
